Access steps are ideal for industrial and commercial use. They are often used in large hangers for aviation allowing pilots to access small aircraft, they are also used in bus and coach depots for maintenance and fitting vehicle livery.
In this range we offer large 4 tread step ladder and 5 tread step ladder. These are great for accessing shelving, storage or equipment where goods are stored above normal head height, and thus suitable access equipment should be used and made available by your employers.
All of our access steps and made from steel, thus are strong and sufficient for industrial and commercial use. The purpose of access steps is to bring your working height to eye level or below, alleviating the need for stretching or lifting.
Because our steps comprise of 4 tread step ladder and 5 tread step ladder they come complete with dual handrails, which is especially important for right and left handed operators. They also feature spring loaded castors (hoofs) or mechanical leverage castors that can be appropriately raised ensuring a solid and firm foundation.
All of the treads feature ribbed rubber to alleviate the likelihood of slipping even when the steps are wet.
